let’s build a dungeon together - part 0 | context & introduction
i didn’t want to put up a blank blog category, so i figured i would start myself off with something i readily enjoy: mapping & keyying a dungeon!
i’m currently running an open-table megadungeon, and i’ve developed a personal process for designing and creating a dungeon. mine is an ongoing project (as they are wont to be), but the dungeon i’ll be building here won’t be a part of it.
here’s what it will be:
- 1 level
- 25 rooms
- made for OSE, though most OSR systems will be easy conversions
- made based on my opinions. there are many ways to build a dungeon, and this is just a collection of my thoughts in case it’s helpful to anyone
